At its ‘Far Out’ launch event, Apple unveiled the new AirPods Pro 2022 along with the iPhone 14 series, the new Apple Watch Series 8, and the Apple Watch Ultra. The long-awaited AirPods Pro Gen-2 headphones have additional features, enhanced noise cancellation, and other upgrades.

Features of AirPods Pro 2
1. Better Fit and Sound
The Airpods Pro 2 will use a new H2 chip, which will enhance the audio quality. The design will remain the same, but there will be improved sound, a custom amplifier, low distortion audio drivers, and higher bandwidth connectivity. Additionally, the earbuds will provide more clarity. The Spatial Audio, one of our favourite features, will receive an update. Apple will customise it based on the size and shape of your head and ears. It’ll make use of your iPhone.
2. Touch Controls
Your AirPods Pro 2 won’t have touch controls. With a single swipe, media and volume can be changed. Along with the force sensor from the prior Airpods, you will receive these.

3. Longer Battery Life
The battery life of the AirPods Pro 2 will increase by 33% and last for an additional six hours on a single charge. A 30-hour listening time lanyard loop is included with the charging case. You can now use an Apple Watch Charger, including a Qi charger, to recharge the charger.
4. A better audio experience
The audio quality that the new AirPods Pro give has once again been increased and may be more significant than any other improvement. A new feature called Personalised Spatial Audio uses the TrueDepth camera on a compatible iPhone to construct an exact model of your head so that the sound they emit can be adjusted to the shape of your ears.
5. The case is water-resistant
The original AirPods Pros are IPX4-rated, but alas, the charging case has absolutely no water protection, leaving it to experience the wrath of Mother Nature. However, not for the second-generation AirPods Pros, and ideally never again.
That’s true, both the earbuds and the case for the AirPods Pro 2 have received the official IPX4 certification.
Price of Apple AirPods Pro 2 in India (expected)
In India, Apple priced the AirPods Pro at Rs 24,900. There aren’t any pricing leaks at the present. We can anticipate a price hike over the current model, though, given the rumoured revisions. If we make an assumption, the cost of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 should remain below Rs 30,000.
